Popular singer Sonu Nigam has deleted his Twitter account after he faced several cases of abuse for supporting fellow singer Abhijeet. The singer’s (Abhijeet) Twitter account got suspended after he labeled a women “prostitute.”
Sonu Nigam was hurt the way people reacted to the whole issue. The opinion of the individual is drowned in all negativity that emanates from social media felt the star singer, and hence he decided to take that drastic decision. He had 7 million followers on Twitter.
The singer cum actor was also recently involved in a controversy. It led to many people abusing him nonstop. He tried hard to make his voice heard, but no one seems to care as everyone had formed an opinion. Abhijeet’s account suspension by Twitter itself was the last nail in the coffin. Citing the environment as that of hatred and people lacking love and humanity, he quit the Twitter world.
