Bollywood actress Mamatha Kulkarni has left the film industry long back when she is in her peak of her career and only surfaced recently due to the alleged involvement in the drugs racket busted by the Thane police.
Her name is added as a co-accused along with other directors of the company Avon Life Sciences Limited. Mamatha’s name along with her husband Vicky is added to the FIR after the executives of the mentioned company were arrested.
According to Thane police, the ex-actress owns shares worth 11 lakh rupees in the company and she recently attended a meeting held by the board regarding smuggling the drugs . India’s anti- Narcotic cell is investigating the case and further details on the actress’ involvement has to be probed.
