Popular stand-up comedian and Television show host, Kapil Sharma has landed in trouble due to his show. This time he has angered the nurse’s community through his newly launched The Kapil Sharma Show.
Nurses from various medical collages and hospital in Amritsar, where the comedian hails from, have been protesting for the past two days. After showing dissent and anger yesterday, they have decided to lodge a defamation suit against Kapil and the show for showing the profession in the most derogatory manner by referring to nurses as people with “loose character” and “easily available”.
This isn’t the first time that Kapil has been under attack. In the past an actor from the show was given 14 days judicial custody after a similar complaint was filed from different organization. Even in Telugu we have incidents of comedians getting beaten up for vulgar portrayal of certain communities on comedy shows. Let us see how this issue ends.
