Having a huge following in Pakistan made Salman Khan’s movie to fall in “don’t want to release on Eid” category. Though there are no official confirmations that Pakistan refused to release Tubelight in their country, these hearsays definitely pushed the film away from the release in the country.

As the reports say, there are two huge films scheduled to be released for Eid in Pakistan, and Salman Khan having a huge stardom in the country is an actual threat to the two local films in terms of collection and competition. Also, the price of the film to get imported is likely too high for the distributors to buy as said by the President of the Indian Film Exporters Association, Hirachand Dand.

However, the COO of Salman Khan films said that Tubelight would surely release in Pakistan but not have confirmed the date of release. He said: “We hope to release Tubelight in Pakistan as well, and our efforts continue in that direction, but we respect the law of the land and judiciary if they decide otherwise.”

Well, the movie might release in Pakistan but with a delay of about couple of weeks. The movie is going to hit Indian screens on June 23.
