Upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ already has movie buffs on the edge of their seats waiting for its release. The Deepika Padukone starrer is set to hit the screens on 1st December this year and seems to be the most anticipated film of the year. The historical drama features well-established actors Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh and will apparently be the first movie of 2017 to have such a large number of releases across the world.
This Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus will be released worldwide and is getting the maximum screening any Indian film has gotten in 2017. Deepika Padukone, who starred in the famous ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, has made quite a name for herself in the international film industries and her movie ‘Padmavati’ will be released in 150 countries at least. It will be distributed by Hollywood studios Paramount Pictures worldwide.
In India itself, the film will be released in 4500 screens. The budget of the film exceeded 180 crores and trade analysts expect the film to fare even better.
