Not Just Remuneration, Profits Also Matter for Shahid KapoorBollywood hero Shahid Kapoor is going to step into Nani’s shoes for the remake of ‘Jersey’ in Hindi. This will be the second remake from Telugu back-to-back, and this movie also happens to pay him the highest paycheck, as per the trade.

According to the trade, the Bollywood star is going to be paid Rs. 35 crores as his remuneration. Added to his remuneration, 30% f the profit share will also go to him from the Bollywood remake of ‘Jersey’.

Most of the Bollywood stars have the same trade equation with the producers of their movie and sharing profits model has been a thing in Bollywood. It’s not a new thing in the film industry.

Shahid Kapoor‘s Bollywood remake ‘Kabir Singh’ of ‘Arjun Reddy’ turned out to be his first-ever solo film to join both the 100 crore and 200 crore clubs in one go.

‘Jersey’ is indeed a potential remake for a talented star like Shahid Kapoor and it’s a good decision that he made not to reject it for the sole reason that it would be back-to-back remakes from Telugu.
