Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been hailed by many as a uniquely talented actor, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for his literary skills. Case in point is his memoir “An Ordinary Life” that he co-wrote with Rituparna Chatterjee, which fell into hot waters as soon as it hit the market.
The controversies surrounding this autobiography is over the way Nawazuddin shared intimate details of his past relationships with actor Sunita Rajwar as well as former Miss India Niharika Singh. Not only did Siddiqui not take consent of these women before writing about them in his memoir, Niharika Singh claims that he has taken creative liberties with the retelling of their past fling so as to gain some cheap publicity and better sell his book!
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin finally seems to have seen the error of his ways and has issued a statement apologising for hurting the emotions of women mentioned in his book. Siddiqui also announced that he regrets all the chaos and controversy around his memoir and the book itself would be withdrawn.
