Kahaani 2 was one film which was keenly awaited from a long time. If one can remember, Kahaani brought Vidya Balan on top of her game and made her the top actress. Naturally, there was a huge demand for the sequel and the film was finally made last year.
After a huge round of promotions, the film opened yesterday with some decent openings. A positive sign for the makers is that the film earned some very good reviews from all the top critics in Bollywood.
Critics like Anupama Chopra and Rajeev Masand opiniated that the film stays true to its genre and entertains for most of the time. This has given a huge relief to Vidya Balan who had given back to back flops previously.
Even though things are good critically it would be very interesting to see how the film fares at the box office as the suspense factor and twist element is already coming out slowly and there will not be any repeat audience.
