Janhvi Kapoor, late yesteryear diva Sridevi daughter’s second movie ‘the biographical drama of real-life Kargil girl ‘Gunjan Saxena’ went for a direct OTT release on Netflix platform.
The movie is a biopic and therefore, the entire burden lies on the shoulders of the protagonist who portrayed the titular role. However, Janhvi Kapoor couldn’t I’ve up to the expectations as she barely passed the mark as the protagonist.
She couldn’t lift the character with her performance and quite naturally, she is being compared to her illustrious other, Sridevi’s performances. It isn’t fair though. Sridevi had been an actress since she was a child until her demise.
However, we must say that it’s overall a watchable affair for a digital watch. Hope, Janhvi Kapoor would improve her performances as she gains experience.
