Starting as a campaign on the social media with a moto to identify the enormity of the sexual harassment, #MeToo has turned out huge with top actresses confessing their bitter experience of being sexually assaulted by updating their status as #MeToo.
#MeToo has now been identified as one of the biggest shared and commented status on social media for the status has gone viral within hours. Many celebrities like Lady Gaga, America Ferrara, Sheryl Crow etc have taken part in the online campaign proving it how serious the problem is.
Now that the campaign has shown up the victims, some say that people need to start to post the names of the guilty to show them to the world. #MeToo has definitely helped many to take down the mass of the bad experience that they have been dragging on their shoulders for years and motivated women to not keep silent but open up and fight back on the assaulter.
