The Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is on a roll and how. On his 52nd birthday, the star announced a new project, his first historical Prithviraj. It will arrive in cinemas on Diwali 2020.
However, the announcement of Prithviraj is just a part of the massive line up Akshay Kumar has set up. He already has a film for Eid (Laxmi Bomb – a remake of Kanchana), and Christmas (Bachchan Pandey – the remake of Veeram), in 2020. It means Akshay now has a biggie locked for all the big festivals.
Not only those festival releases he has a mega biggie Sooryavanshi with Rohit Shetty planned to arrive in March next year. He also has two more films (Houseful 4 and Good News) slated to release in the final quarter of the current year.
That’s a whopping 6 films starting from Diwali 2019 to Christmas 2020. Akshay Kumar is known for his speed in shooting, so it won’t be a big surprise if he has all films arriving on time. The news here would be any postponements or new addition.
Akshay Kumar is often termed as mini-industry. These releases prove why he is called so. Only Salman Khan in the past had many movies (two for a year) continuously and scored. Akki is all set to beat him in the game of numbers if these films succeed.
