The trailer of new Bollywood flick Lootcase is out. It is another film that is heading the OTT way. The movie stars Kunal Khemu in the lead.
Right from the first frame, it is clear what Lootcase is all about. It is a crime comedy and involves a suitcase full of money. Many people are after it whereas it is with a common man. The trailer promises chaos surrounding it which seems to be handled well.
Crime comedy is an overused genre for the past decade or so. Lootcase still manages to bring fun into the proceedings based on the trailer. If the same holds true for the entire movie, it will be a robust and engaging outing without any doubt.
The best part of Lootcase (from the trailer) is the casting and the writings. The selection of artists is excellent, and they play the various quirks given to them to hilarious effect. They collectively enhance the appeal of the writing. Vijay Raaj, especially, looks show-stealing.
Check out the trailer below. Rajesh Krishnan directs Lootcase. Rasika Duggal, Gajaraj Rao, and Ranveer Shorey essay the other vital roles. Lootcase will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar from July 31st. Given their line up, it definitely looks like they will be off to a bumper start for their initiative Disney Plus Hotstar Multiplex.
