Responding to the allegations using the video shot at the private party, big Bollywood producer Karan Johar who hosted the party came up with his side of the story about that party. He said that his mother was sitting with them just before the video was taken. Would he do drugs in the presence of his mother?

Another question he throws was, “Am I stupid to shoot the video and release it if we were doing drugs?” Quite a valid question. But, the condition of the celebrities made the entire accusations made by a leader of a political party who wrote an open letter condemning Bollywood.

According to Karan, Vicky Kaushal who was also seen among other big celebs like Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani etc. was recovering from Dengue and hence, was seen drinking hot water with lemon. Though his side of the story could be right, Karan didn’t respond immediately and took a few weeks to respond.

Karan also threatened the accusers that he would take the legal route if they didn’t stop spreading baseless allegations on reputed personalities who had achieved a place.
