The sudden death of young Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput has jolted the entire India film industry. Stars and actors, across India, has paid their heartfelt condolences. However, the fans and movie lovers, in general, have been harsh on a couple of them. They got severely trolled.
The two names who received backlash are star producer Karan Johar and actress Alia Bhatt. They too expressed grief over the passing away of Sushant Singh Rajput. However, the netizens were quick to show them a mirror with their past response to the actor.
Previously, on the popular show Koffee With Karan, hosted by Karan Johar, the actress along with the host, made fun of Sushant Singh Rajput. They displayed a condescending attitude towards him. When asked to rank the three upcoming young actors, Sushant, Ranveer Singh And Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt replied ‘Sushant Who?’, insinuating that she never heard his name.
Similarly, there have been several instances of Karan Johar mocking Sushant Singh Rajput for his social media posts. Given such past, their messages didn’t go down well with the fans, expectedly, attracting trolls.
Incidentally, Sushant Singh Rajput and Karan Johar did work on a movie together, in the capacity of actor and producer. The film was Drive, which after multiple delays went straight to Netflix. It has a disastrous reception.
