Comedy Artist Kapil Sharma has a highly successful tv show and consequently is one of the most highly paid performers on Indian television. But until today when he dropped a truth bomb about his earnings, people could not imagine the extent of his wealth.
In a dig on PM Narendra Modi, Sharma had tweeted that he had been paying a sum of 15 crores as income tax every year for the five years and yet he had to pay 5 lakhs as bribe to BMC office in order to construct his office. He had asked the PM that if such kind of incidents happen to people like him, then where is the ache din.
In saying this, Kapil has clarified his earnings which certainly falls in the 30% bracket and experts say that it must close to 50 crores. That is one awesome salary package!
