Director Krish is presently busy shooting for his Bollywood historical movie titled ‘Manikarnika‘ based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is essaying the titular role in this movie. While shooting for an action sequence, the actress hurt her ankle.
The team was shooting for a scene in which Jhansi Lakshmi Bai will jump off from 40 feet high wall along with her adopted son. Kangana didn’t land properly on the horse that was stationed below and while trying to see that the baby boy is unhurt, she hurt her leg.
Her fans can be rest assured as she didn’t suffer a fracture but there was a ligament tear. After initial first- aid and then shifting to a hospital for medical aid, Kangana went back to Mumbai and hence, the shooting of the would be stalled for at least one or two weaks.
