Historical dramas and period films always enjoy a certain craze among the Bollywood audiences and hence, the genre will be always in demand. After ‘Baahubali’, Bollywood is looking forward to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavathi’.
Here is another epic drama announced by Ajay Devgan. He released the first look poster of this drama which is going to be based on the life of a Maratha hero, Subedar Taanaji Malusare who fought alongside the great Maratha hero Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj. The warrior also happens to be the childhood friend of the Maharaj.
The tagline of this epic drama ‘The Unsung Warrior’ tells us that we don’t have many stories in circulation about this Maratha hero. But, Maharashtrians folklore has a mention of this hero and his heroic deeds during the various wars Chatrapathi Shivaji fought. Shivaji called him ‘a Lion’ after the warrior was killed in a war.
