Sridevi‘s elder daughter’s confession on Priyanka Chopra’s recent show is raising eyebrows including the host. As the Dhadak actress revealed, her sister got rape threats on social media for a silly thing that they did on Coffee with Karan’s show.
Priyanka was with a couple of celebrities at the live-athon at Facebook’s office where they discussed the deeds of social media and the topic came over the nasty trolls which are the major drawback of the social media where the actor’s fall the primary victims. There Janhvi explained on how her cousin Anshula got rape threats on media for not helping Janhvi winning the hamper on Karan’s show.
The young actress says “As people are faceless on social media, they feel they can have opinions that sometimes cross a moral line.” That was actually scary to see such threats to come from unknown individuals for such silly things. And we know the level of trolling happens on the hot posts of the actresses. As Priyanka said, they can’t help it but ignore the negative ones and just look at the positive comments.
