But all theirs hopes are demolished and a spokesperson of Akshay confirmed that the news is just a rumor and there is no truth in it. He said that Akshay Kumar is not playing Narendra Modi on the screen. As Akshay has been making these social subject movies like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Padman, the news was almost believable that the star would choose the role of Narendra Modi in his next movie.
Well, now we know that he is not. Recently Akshay posted his meet with Modi on his social media account stating that he is glad that he met Modi and got the opportunity to talk to him about his movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha which matches the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan concept which Modi seemed to have liked.
