When two big films starring superstars release on the same day, many times one film fares better than the other. The same thing happened in the case of Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan.
While Akshay’s ‘Rustom’ collected a total of Rs.82 crore plus in 6 days, Hrithik Rishan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is lagging way behind with Rs. 46 crores. So, Akshay Kumar’s film is going to join the Rs.100 crore club within a couple of days and it will be his third film to enter the Rs.100 crore club in this year.
But Hrithik Roshan’s film couldn’t live up to the expectations of the trade. Day by day, the footfalls for ‘Mohenjo Daro’ are decreasing and it is obvious that his film will come nowhere near Rs.100 crore club. Clearly, Akshay is the winner in this competition.
