Bollywood star hero’s ‘Super 30‘ actually opened up with positive reviews all over and it’s understood that he gave a memorable performance. However, the opening figures aren’t going to be flattering.
The movie had a low start at the B & C centers and the reason is the content, not the star. The content hardly caters to the masses and especially, the youth wouldn’t get any thrilling moments like in a love story or a thriller.
So, the low start in the B & C centers can be easily understood. So, a lot depends on the A centers in the metros where the weekend might turn out to be a good thing for ‘Super 30’ collections.
For a star like Hrithik Roshan, the opening day collections might be a disappointment but the makers might have known it as they made a biopic on a mathematician who wasn’t as popular as a film star or a sportsperson.
