People always wonder when South film industries could do so much with the restricted market they have, what a Bollywood movie can do with so much at their disposal. Well, this is what they are usually up to and a significant reason why it can’t make full use of the market.
Here is the trailer of Housefull 4. One can instantly see the massive budget and money splurged to make the movie. But what is the content they have in it? It is ludicrous and a hotchpotch of various successful films. From the Baahubali movies to No Entry, and from Sanjay Leela Bhansali grandeur to Priyadarshan madness, there is a crazy mix of everything.
The basic premise of a ‘reincarnation comedy’ looks exciting, but the idea has been turned into a fatuous trite. The cast featuring Akshay Kumar on a roll, Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol, looks superb. We also have three gorgeous ladies, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, and Kriti Sanon playing the female leads. There is also Rana Daggubati if you can notice him.
As the name suggests, Housefull 4 is the fourth film in the franchise. The first two were adaptations of South Indian flicks and were somewhat better. The one was an original and is considered the weakest of the lot. The latest chapter is another ‘original’ idea. Let’s see where it lands.
