Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh which is a Hindi remake of the Telugu Arjun Reddy directed by the same Sandeep Vanga has got a good response as expected in Hindi audience and the makers are super content with that, also announced their release date on 21 June long back. But with another potential film announcing its release on the same day has got two Telugu directors’ battle at the national level.
Well, speaking of the competition that the Kabir Singh got in the form of Mental Hai Kya, Shahid stayed unmoved and says it was them who announced the date already and the other team have moved their release to the same day later which means the ball has always been in their court.
Wishing them the best, he also says, they have done their best and know the outcome already and it is left to Kangana’s Mental Hai Kya directed by Prakash Kovelamudi to stay put for the judgment at the box office.
That is some pretty good confidence that Shahid is carrying as he says good films do good at box office and a bad one wouldn’t even if it had a solo release. That reminds us of the confidence that Vijay Deverakonda showcased during Arjun Reddy release. Let’s see if Shahid’s confidence in Kabir Singh gives him the same success that Arjun Reddy gave to Vijay.
