Udta-PunjabLooks like Shahid Kapur’s film Udta Punjab is getting a huge support from all corners. In what could be said as a huge revelation the Bombay high court has cleared the film Udta Punjab with just only one cut and has given an A certificate.

Surprisingly, the censor board, last week had asked the makers to cut off at least 89 scenes and remove the word Punjab from the title. This did not go well with the makers Anurag kashyap and his gang who approached the Bombay High Court.

Giving away its verdict, the high court said in a statement that the film is now way encouraging drug and its abuse and films like these should come into light for making a point to the youth of this country.

The film was in huge controversy for some drug abuse and how it is exploited in the state of Punjab. Now with the high court granting such a relief to the makers, the film is all set to fly again.
