Many of our South Indian successful actresses’ next destination or stop turned out to be Bollywood. Actresses like Sridevi, Jayapradha and Hema Malini who ruled Bollywood as number one actresses, are from South.
There is one more actress, who made it big in Bollywood and she is Vidya Balan. She is different though. Though she is South Indian, she made her debut with Hindi movies and is yet to make her South films’ debut. Earlier, two times she missed out on her Kollywood debut.
The third time, she got the chance to feature opposite superstar Rajinikanth in his forthcoming project, the sequel of ‘Kabali’ to be helmed by Pa Ranjith. When the shooting of the film got delayed and was pushed forward, the actress opted out of the film citing date issues. This is a hat-trick miss for Vidya Balan. Hmm!
