Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming political drama ‘Sarkar 3‘ is getting ready to woo us in theatres. Here is one Narendra Hirawat & Co. claiming that the copyright of ‘Sarkar’ franchise’s remake, prequel and sequel rest in their right.
So, they approached the court to stall the release of the film as the makers of Amitabh Bachchan’s movie directed by Ram Gopal Varma hadn’t responded to their legal notices regarding the copyright issues. Presently the matter is now sub-judice and we have to wait for the court’s verdict.
The makers of ‘Sarkar 3’ are denying the charges against them and clarifying that the above said Narendra Hirawat & Co. have only the remake rights of ‘Sarkar’. The third installment of this hit franchise isn’t a remake but a sequel to the second part, with the continuation of the story from one installment to the other.
