The long wait is over for the villain opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba, the remake of Temper in Hindi. Rohit Shetty directs the movie.
The Dabangg villain Sonu Sood has been roped for the part. The actor has been picking villain roles selectively and only accepting those that offer him something substantial to do, along with the main lead. The negative character in Simmba was previously proposed to Madhavan and Abhishek Bachchan.
Simmba stars Sara Ali Khan in the female lead. It could turn out to be her debut movie if the other release Kedarnath doesn’t make it on time. Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty jointly produce the action entertainer which is slated to release on December 28.
