Bollywood director Vikram Bhatt, who his known for his erotic thriller flicks, is back in news with a new venture. The director’s upcoming film, titled ‘Love Games’, is also one such flick. Apparently, it talks about the partner sharing aspects of relationships.
While most of his films are labelled “vulgar” or “inappropriate”, Bhatt believes in questioning that type of orthodox thinking. The director called out on Censor Board’s moral policing and stated that the Board has taken up the job of “protecting the audience’s taste”.
He also added that if it is the viewers’ wish to watch a ‘vulgar’ movie, why the CBFC should deny them of their rights. He feels that instead of evolving over the years, the censoring has gone worse, and sometimes downright ridiculous.
