Finally, ‘Arjun Reddy’ is going to Bollywood as Hindi remake starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead. It’s understood that the director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has to revisit his script to make changes that would cater to the pan-Indian audiences’ tastes.
The first major change would be with the backdrop of the hero and the heroine. In the original movie, Vijay Deverakonda played a Telugu guy when Shalini Pandey played a Tulu girl. So, the backdrop for both these characters will change, certainly. The director revealed that Shahid Kapoor is closely working with him with regard to even the minute changes in the script.
The story was indeed gripping when said in Telugu and the same will be applicable to Hindi when the right kind of dialogues will be written to create maximum impact. Even the cultural backdrop of the movie needs to be changed along with the backdrop of the protagonists. Let’s see how Sandeep Vanga revisits his own script.
