The much-awaited film ‘Naam Shabana’ was shown to a small of crowd consisting of movie critics among others and the film surely surprised the viewers. The movie promised a strong female lead and that we got in Shabana, portrayed excellently by Taapsee Pannu. However, the highly anticipated movie was not all that we expected and received mixed reviews from critics.
The spin-off of the super hit Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Baby’ came off as slow to some while others found the back story quite dull. In the small pool of strong women-centric films, the film certainly has its great moments. But despite all the action and a badass lead, the protagonist’s indifferent and apathetic attitude made the film seem rather tedious and uninteresting.
The film, which will hit the screens this Friday, lacked a clear plot as per early reviews but let’s get our own first-hand experience.
