Zaira Wasim became an overnight star when ‘Dangal’ hit theaters. She played the younger version of the international medal-winning wrestler, Geetha Singh Poghat, daughter of Mahavir Singh Poghat played by Aamir Khan.
The girl met with an accident and narrowly escaped death when her car slid into the Dal Lake in Srinagar. She is a resident of Kashmir by birth. The jeep went out of control from the driver’s hands and skidded into the lake. Some locals saw this accident and rescued the girl and the driver.
It was nothing less than a miracle that Zara Wasim escaped death. Some reports say that the driver was none other than her boyfriend Arif Amin. Zaira Wasim is once again sharing screen space with Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan in the forthcoming movie ‘Secret Superstar’ which would be coming this Diwali.
