The emotional disturbances in the personal lives of small time actresses had been the cause of their suicides and deaths in many cases in the past and here is one more actress who met the same fate.
Bengali actress Bitasta Saha is said to have committed suicide and was found hanging in the flat of the apartment she used to reside. Her body was found after two days as her mother and friends suspected something when she didn’t answer their calls.
Her social media posts say that the actress was in stress and depression. She was allegedly in a relationship with an IT officer by name Sikat Mitra, who is said to have fled the scene and wasn’t arrested after the actress’ mother filed a complaint against him.
Though it looked like she hanged herself, some injuries and cuts on her body looked suspicious and hence police are waiting for the postmortem report.
