PadmavatiFinally, they did it. Rajput Community and the Karni Sena along with other groups who are immensely mad at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati have made the director agree for a screening before the release.

The film is a huge one with expectations to beat Baahubali for the grandeur of the film. But the film has always been haunted by the Rajput Community and the localities who believe that Bhansali is showing the history of their Queen Rani Padmini in a different way that hurts their religious and communal feelings. They protested not to release the film at all.

But, Bhansali agreed to screen the film to anyone who wants to know the facts of the film but only after CBFC gives approval. Despite the filmmakers assuring the people that there would be no defamation done to the Queen Padmini in the film, the protesters kept halting the film. The film is for release on December 1st and it is still a dilemma if they let it hit the screens.
