Now that the biopic of MS Dhoni has been released and is performing very well at the box office, it is time for the biopic of another cricketer, the legend Sachin Tendulkar himself! And while Dhoni was paid handsomely for the film based on his life, Sachin has not even taken a penny for Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
As it so happens, the film on Sachin’s life has been produced by Sachin’s friend Ravi Bhagchandka and the Master Blaster Sachin could not even dream of charging any money from him. Sachin gave away all the intimate details of his life for free and thus came the highly awaited film.
Tendulkar even managed to persuade his son, Arjun Tendulkar, to play the child version of himself and from the reception the film’s teasers and first look posters have got, the film is going to be hugely successful!
