The CBFC has a reputation for its conservative ways so when the teaser for the upcoming ‘Deadpool’ movie was to go through the Censor Board, it was expected that there will be some cuts. Yet, surprisingly the teaser, which contains a full seven seconds of actor Ryan Reynold’s exposed derrière, was passed without any cuts.
The teaser, which shows the Deadpool actor changing into his superhero gear in a phone booth while giving us a good view of his bare butt before heading out to fight crime, will now be shown among the other trailers before the Hollywood movie ‘Logan’ begins.
While they happy that there are no cuts on the trailer, it is surprising that CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani, who had problems with elongated kissing scenes Bond movies and banned a film titled ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ on the pretext of it being “lady-oriented” content, passed the movie.
