It seems the political tensions that arose between India and Pakistan post the Uri terror attacks are directly affecting the Bollywood movies. While ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ makers are receiving threats from the MS Dhoni Maharashtra Navanirman Samithi (MNS) for having a Pakistan actor in the film, ‘Dhoni‘ is facing the same heat in Pakistan.
The Pakistan actors were ordered by MNS to leave the country. As a counter attack, the distributors in Pakistan want to ban Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic ‘Dhoni’ as there is big tension prevailing in both the countries. This situation is a big blow to the business of ‘Dhoni’ starring Sushanth Singh Rajput in the lead.
Pakistan is the third largest market for Bollywood films and hence a ban in this country means a huge dent in the collections of the movie. But keeping in mind the prevailing political tensions, one shouldn’t try to escalate things beyond repair. Let’s see how the arch rivals are going to tackle this tricky situation.
