Team ‘Kabir Singh’ must be celebrating though they seem to be taking it lying low. Why not? ‘Kabir Singh’ is going to get into the 100 crore club in just 5 days and also emerge the biggest solo hit for Shahid Kapoor.
The movie has collected ₹ 17 crore plus nett on Monday and with that the total collections of the movie amounted to ₹ 88 crores. Only a day away to join the coveted 100 crore club. The movie already crossed Salman Khan’s Monday milestone that was ₹15 crores.
Though, there are reports claiming that ‘Kabir Singh’ may touch ‘URI, The Surgical Strike’ that has grossed ₹ 245 crores in lifetime, it’s unlikely that it would happen as URI has run steadily for 11 weaks.
However, Hindi Arjun Reddy is a blockbuster in its own right meeting the expectations with regard to the content, and crossing the expectations in terms of box-office collections.
