It’s a known thing all over the country that four members of the Bachchan family have been tested COVID-19 positive and are under strict medical care. Suddenly, a piece of news was telecast on a popular national TV channel.
Immediately, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “This news is an incorrect, irresponsible, fake and incorrigible lie.” The news report said that they were hoping to get an official word that all is well and Amitabh Bachchan is now not COVID-19 positive.
According to the channel’s report, Amitabh Bachchan was tested negative in the latest tests and also said that all the prayers for his speedy recovery from his fans paid off and now, he would be back to normal.
Though it would really be good news if he tests negative, reporting such fake news is not the right spirit without clarifying the facts. Amitabh’s immediate tweet claiming the report to be a lie says it all, doesn’t it?
