Ajay Devgan Giving Karan Johar A Taste Of His Own MedicineAjay Devgn is a senior star in Bollywood who has been scoring success consistently at the box office for nearly three decades now. He is very media-shy and soft-spoken in general and always lets his films do the talking. Ajay Devgn got the biggest hit of his career recently with Tanhaji.

When we say Ajay Devgn lets his movies do the talking, it is in a literal sense. The star never hesitates from clashing, and if he senses a foul play, he is also ready to take the route keeping the prospects of his movie first.

So, recently Ajay Devgn announced the release of his upcoming sports biopic on November 27th later in the year. It is a dry season with no festival advantage in India. Under such a scenario, he would have expected a couple of weeks open run. But Karan Johar, the presenter of Baahubali in Hindi, announced his most ambitious production arrival a week after Ajay Devgn’s next.

Karan Johar has in the past adopted similar strategies by placing his movies a week after the stars. The senior star understanding the situation has postponed his release by two weeks. Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan will now arrive on December 11th, a week after Brahmastra releases.

It will be interesting to see if either of the movies changes their release date. Karan Johar as it as has another production (Mr Lele) planned for January 1st release which is a week after another biggie Laal Singh Chadda.
