Raai Laxmi has been flourishing as an actress in South Indian films. However, in the sequel of film Julie, originally played by Neha Dhupia, Raai’s talents are completely wasted. In fact, a Bollywood critic trashed Julie 2 as one of the worst films of the year.
From its illogical plotline, absurd dialogue and lackluster performance, the film simply fails to capture any attention. Despite Raai’s beauty captured in some scenic shots, the film fails to attract any audience. The film revolved around Julie, an actress, who is trying to make a movie on a social icon from Durgapur along with a French director. There are some characters who seemed to have been brought on for comic relief but proves to just absurd as per reviews.
Leaving aside the film itself, even the music is simply bland. Overall, it is not a film that can be recommended to watch to the point that all the reviews have been negative with Hindustan Times literally giving it 0/5 rating!
