Having one’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds is considered a great honour and the wax museum going to be set up in Delhi will have the statue of legendary singer Asha Bhonsle who sung in more than 1000 films.
Asha Bhonsle was more than happy and felt it an honour to have her wax statue at Madame Tussauds Museum in the Bollywood music section. After Prabhas, she is the next celebrity to be chosen for the honour. The museum representatives visited the singer to take appropriate measurements for her wax figure.
She is a Guinness record holder for recording a maximum number of songs and also singing in 20 different languages, both Indian and foreign languages. She deserves the recognition for her contribution to the Indian music. She has a unique voice that could mesmerise the yesteryear and the present day audiences alike.
