Who can beat the ticket price of superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ which was exorbitantly priced as high as Rs.1800 in some multiplexes? Seems it’s none other than his ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Diwali release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘.
The ticket prices of this film are priced as high as Rs.2200 for a Platinum Superior ticket in a multiplex, PVR Director’s Cut, Ambience in Gurgaon, Mumbai. Aishwarya’s bold scenes with young hero Ranbir Kapoor helped the movie to get big hype, along with Pakistani actors’ controversy.
Can the movie cross the collections of ‘Sultan’ and create a new record? There is very less possibility as another big film ‘Shivaay’ starring Ajay Devgan and Sayesha Sehgal (‘Akhil’ fame) is hitting theaters on the same day. The revenues would get divided between these two biggies for sure.
