Padmavati, now Padmaavat gave great hopes to the B-Town who were expecting the film to pull them out from the feeling of a dubbed film standing on the top, as the no.1 movie in their territory. But, from the day 1, the film had faced a lot of negativity and ended up being banned in 4 states.
The release day is no longer and just a week away. After Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat, Haryana dumped the film by Banning it to the latest. The common point that all these state leaders have raised is that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has deviated from the history and made the film in dishonor to their royal Queen Padmini.
The irony is that the ban decision has been taken despite the film got clearance from CBFC with a U/A certificate. Having been banned in 4 states, will the film live up to the expectations to beat Rajamouli‘s Baahubali? Should wait to see where will it end up.
