It is very hard to tell what is the film about till we get into the last half an hour of the film. What we finally know is heroine who is averse to marriage finally wants to get married as she falls in love with hero. How hero also develops the same feeling and finally both get together is what the film is all about.

How is Aadhi’s performance?
Aadi is his usual self. There is nothing we see in the film that we haven’t seen before. He goes about his way in a very predictable manner with absolutely no scope to perform or show a difference.

Director Veerabhadram made his debut with the film Aha Na Pellanta. It wasn’t great shakes in terms of story but he managed to hold attention with good screenplay that was filled with good comedy blocks. It worked in that film and the same formula was maintained well in his next film as well. The problem of course was in terms of story he regressed from the first to second film.

When he made his third film Bhai, this story aspect become even weak and add to it the hard work put in to generate humor and elevation through dialogues, it became an unintentional joke of a film. Why is all this past mentioned without telling about Chuttalabbai? Well, in Chuttalabbai the director has completely forgotten the story aspect and over corrected the mistakes of Bhai that made it unintentional comedy. The result is we get a film that is plain and simple bad with absolutely no redeeming quality. Chuttalabbayi Movie Review Direction Issues

Namitha Pramod is alright presence on screen. But when it comes to acting she is like many others who have no clue on what’s going on and the expression to be given. Sai Kumar has great screen presence but is not utilized well. Same is the case with Abhimanyu Singh who is criminally wasted. There are a bunch of comedians but none have a fully developed role to create any sort of impact. Among the many Prudhvi stands out.

Music by SS Thaman is okay. Background score could have been a lot better. The cinematography is fine. Editing should have been better. Dialogues are poor and pretty unremarkable.  Chuttalabbayi Movie Review Technical Analysis

Aatadukundam Raa Review

Sai Kumar and his family have been in films from a quite long time. Right from his father to his brothers, all have been working in some department or the other in Tollywood. They have done several films in Kannada and have also worked as dubbing artists for over 30 years now. But except for Sai Kumar, none of them have clicked in the industry.

The third generation continued when Sai Kuamr’s son Aadi made an entry into films. Boy, his entry was decent when both his first films were turned out to be goo hits. There was no looking back for this young boy who was quite naive and got success to his head and he went on to accept many films one by one.

But sadly, he did six films and none of them became a hit. He tried several genres and acted opposite star heroines. The only solace was his film Gaalipatam where he received critical acclaim for his bold role. But this film too did not bring him much commercial luck. Films like Rough and Garam sank without a trace.

His father even promoted his film Rough and even produced it, but to the bad luck, all this went into waste. After a small gap, he is now back with a final try in the form of Chuttalabbayi. This film is directed by Veera Bhadram who is yet another director who is seriously looking for a hit to stay afloat in the industry.

His last films with Nagarjuna, Bhai was a disaster and broke him up. So, he has taken a script which is filled with entertainment and has come forth with the name Chuttalabbayi. Both him and Aadi are in a crunch stage now as they need this film to be a huge hit. Right from the beginning of the project, the team have been promoting the film aggressively and are looking to consolidate their position when their film releases this Friday.

They have competition in the form of Aatatukundam Ra which has Sushanth who is also looking out for a hit as his career also needs a hit to make a comeback. There is surely competition between these two films as both have decent entertainment and commercial values.

As the star cast is mostly youngsters, Chuttalabbayi’s director Veera Bhadram has cleverly added some senior artists like Brahmanandam, Posani and Raghu Babu to make things even better in terms of comedy. The movie is a fun entertainer which has loads of fun and the crew promises many items that might interest the front benchers more.

Coming to the promotions also, the makers made all things planned well and nicely doing their promotions well. Things have been looking well as the entire star cast is going breezy with all the channels and speaking well about the film. One more important and added attraction of the film is that Aadi’s dad Sai Kumar is playing a vital role n the film which will come during the second half.

Aadi plays the role of a recovery agent called Recovery Babji in this film and Namitha is the heroine. The trailers have done well and everyone associated with the project a bit positive thinking that their content in the film has in it to give Aadi and Veerabhadram their much-needed hit.
