Eight Members World Bank Committee arrived in Vijayawada a short while ago. They will be residing here for three days and will verify the loan proposals put up by the state government.

They will be sitting with state government officials and CRDA officials. The state government is expecting a loan of 7250 Crore from the World Bank. Central government had allowed the loan proposal and forwarded it to the World Bank. Once the report of the committee is tabled, the loan amount will be finalized.

The state government is eagerly waiting for the loan to be cleared. Construction of a World Class Capital is one of the prominent poll promises of Chandrababu Naidu. He is adamant to complete the core capital by that time and go to elections showing it to the people.
