In a new case of Internet scams, a news is doing rounds on social media that the popular chat messenger Whatsapp has released its gold version which comes with several nifty options.
The message claims this new and secret version of Whatsapp has been leaked and is used only by big celebrities. The message then goes on to list the various better and advanced options the new version of Whatsapp has. This includes WhatsApp Video calling , deleting the messages sent by mistake , option to send more than 100 pics at once ,Free calling ,Change WhatsApp themes among tons of other great features.
The scam message then states that this gold version of Whatsapp is available only by invites and can be activated by clicking the given link. The whole scam is likely a trap by hackers to retrieve users’ personal information.
