Amaravati, VIT University Amaravati, Vellore institute of Technology Amaravati, SRM University Amaravati, VIT Amaravati, SRM Amaravati Andhra Pradesh government is moving forward with some crucial developments in Amaravati capital city. The other day, the state government had allotted 150 acres each for the two prestigious institutions. Indo-UK Medical Institute and Hospital and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) officially completed their paper work for the land assignments. The government is also likely to allot 200 acres for Chennai based SRM University which is one of the top 20 ranked Universities.

VIT and SRM are top universities and are likely to bring in foreign students. The government has also inked an MOU with BRS Ventures owned by B. R. Shetty group of Abu Dhabi which entails an investment of Rs. 12,000 crore in healthcare, setting up a Hospital, Medical University, medical equipment manufacturing facility in Amaravati. The land allotment for BRS ventures is in final stages. 150 acres will be allotted to set up their campus in Amaravati.

The state government is also allotting 25 acres to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. The state government is keen on materializing these developments by 2018 so as to give a shape to the World Class Capital by 2019 elections.
