The Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu decided to postpone the foundation cermony of Temporary Secretariat. The event was to happen on 12th of this month and muhurtham was also set.
However the financial bids for the construction are not finalized. The companies have quoted more than 30-35% to the estimates of the government. Now government has negotiate with them or go for fresh tenders.
The new muhurtham will be announced only after the tenders are finalized. The Temporary Secretariat will come up in Velagapudi, one of the capital notified villages. The construction will come in 26 acres and will create 6 Lakh Square feet of office space.
