telangana-secretariatAccording to a Telugu media report, Telangana government is planning to demolish the existing Secretariat building in August due to Vaastu errors. CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will lay foundation stone for the new secretariat in August when the auspicious days begin and is targeting to complete the construction of new secretariat in one year time.

The officials have already began alternative arrangements to house the secretariat departments. Some of the departments will be accommodated in vacant HOD offices. Government advisers will be given work from home option in this one year. CMO, General Administration Department may be accommodated temporarily in Boorgula Rama Krishna Rao Bhavan or Expotel Hotel in Lower Tank Bund or Marri Chenna Reddy HRD Bhavan.

The State government may also use some of the blocks going to be vacated by Andhra Pradesh government, if necessary. The government is keeping the location of new secretariat under wraps. The Chief Minister and two committees working under Chief Secretary, Rajiv Sharma are personally supervising this.
