In what can be described as a gore and shameful incident, a Techie of Kerala fired four rounds at his father and later cut him in to six pieces after his attempts to burn the corpse failed, and bundled into gunny sacks. The limbs, torso, head and other parts were all recovered from various places.
It is said that the father and son are not in good terms for years and are living in different towns from the last couple of years. Recently the accused came home and had an altercation over properties. Finally, the son brutally eliminated his father fearing that he would not be given a share.
After two days of non-stop interrogation, the son confessed to his crime and explained how he eliminated his father. The Police doubted him since he always gave contradictory statements about his father’s possible death. He was produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court and was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.
